Hunting Season 2013-2014

It's finally over!  No more lonely weekends!  Cameron and his brother had a packed trailer this weekend with all of the nephews at the camp.  Since Chris can't take all his sons out, Cameron was a good uncle and took William & John with him.

I only made it up one weekend this year.  It was a typical relaxing weekend with my magazines & wine.  It's always fun to catch up with all the men up there.  Most of them were my late father-in-law's friends and can be quite hilarious, especially after a few drinks.  Even 50+ year old men still have drama!

Cameron only shot one doe this year, but that is plenty to fill up our freezer for the two of us.  He saw several bucks, but let them go since they weren't as big as the one he got last year.  He just enjoys the hunt and doesn't actually have to kill the deer to have a good time.  Nonetheless, I'm glad he enjoyed the season but I'm also glad it's over and I can have my husband back!
